I'm new to Wilmington area and know nothing about the radio business, but I am very glad to have found WSTW. The first station I tuned to in the mornings was 93.7, but I couldn't handle the morning personality "John" on there. His on-air schtick is to play this dumb former Texan who reports urban legends as real news stories.waky79 said:Format is all over the place? Please! Does your I-POD have a specific focus? Get with the times. Yes, If you want the coveted 25 to 54 females, I would have to agree with OldNumber7. He has the most sense on here so far. WSTW has always been a little out of the ordinary as far as music flow but, in Wilmington it has always worked. It out performs most CHR stations in the country in your 12 plus scenario.
Jill and Dana are great, and my only "complaint" would be that the mix they play can be a bit jarring--I'd like to hear less hip-hop-oriented contemporary that doesn't mesh well with the 80s/90s and other contemporary (hope those are the right terms! ;D) that they play. I wonder what the change in PD will bring long-term.
