WTNV, WYNU - Forever - Jackson

Smash....I actually worked all day today, and heard of no announcement. What was the announcement? Are they changing WYNU? I listened a few minutes today and noticed no change.Or, was it something about 104? ???

Yes, I have been asked as a personal favor from Chris not to post... so this is my last one... I'm the kind of guy that likes to make one last call, anyway... Conrad is leaving, that's the "big announcement." I've known since the stations were Clear Channel that he was planning on leaving within a year. his doctor told him to make a "major lifestyle change" or he would die, and I for one don't want to see that happen. Yes, Conrad leaving will be difficult for the station. but it is best for him, and I wish him the best. Go back and read my posts, i never said that Conrad wasn't leaving... I just never admitted that he was ;) there is a certian standard that I think all people should live up to, and releasing confidential information on the internet is way below that standard. So Smash, whoever you are, when you leave, I wish you the best. but as for now, if you are unhappy, make some comments to the people that matter and maybe things can be changed, just blasting and threatening on the internet will change nothing.but it might get you fired... and that never looks good on a resume or job application "i was fired for blasting my company on the internet." do you actually think that will help you in your future jobs?ok I've talked alot, and it's been fun. hope the board stays interesting. and Conrad, I know'll you'll read this... have a great retirement and catch a largemouth bass for me. :D

I don't know you people but after reading through the Jackson, TN. posts, two words come to mind: Sour grapes! I've never seen such a hateful bowl of them in my life. Smashmouth, you take the cake. You're smart to keep your identity secret. Your posts say more about you than the people you're talking about.

I have been reading about the times at Eagle 104. I don't know which to believe. Of course, I was there when we first changed from album rock to country in '81. Those were good times...of course, management (Kirk Broadcasting) was not much better. If things are bad at 'TNV, I hope y'all can get out and get you a better gig. Good luck to you all.
