WTSM 93.5 : Current Status

I really don't see why someone would put forth the effort to create a new signal in Keene......find a tower to be on....and simply simulcast a Concord station.

I don't claim to know what Great Eastern's plans are, but what you're describing seems be working just fine in Mississippi:

They would have WTPL, WTSL, & WTSM in NH.

I've always thought this kind of thing would work in New Hampshire, especially if you could line up enough stations to reach most of the population areas - Manch, Concord, Nashua, Keene, Portsmouth, Laconia and maybe a north country station. In a sense, NHPR is doing that now, with a couple of local shows and news. Ideally, you would need more local programming and hopefully, since the state is pretty much split down the middle politically, a balance of host opinions. I don't know if the ad revenue would be there to do it but I bet there would be listener interest.

Isn't it still dark.....because.....basically....no tower? Also, isn't another new signal coming in as well?

WVRR going on 101.9 when it moves, and WSNI is going to the West Hill site of 98.7 and future 93.5.

As stated earlier in this thread, 93.5 will not be going to West Hill as the tower there is full...97.7 and 98.7 will be diplexing. There is a much lower stick near there where Q106 has its Keene translator...that one may be possible, but with a large coverage penalty.
