About the call letters...AFAIK, this is the first time a station in the Birmingham market has ever had "double-W's" in the call sign...and I've been following radio in Birmingham for over 35 years. And the only stations I can think of that had two non-consecutive W's in the call sign were WTWG-1220 (post WBUL, pre WAYE) and WOWC-102.5 (post WZBQ, pre WDXB).
