WWNU Officially Flips to Christmas

Here in the GSP market, we are all...on the the very lip of both MY & Magic committing to the "Dumb, but Festive",......following the Holly Jolly tutelage of some Boob Consultant (Oh, by Golly). Truthfully, it is putting the cart before the horse to play any Christmas songs, before Black Friday. I realize that it is a bit different this year, as you are out of the Fall book on 12/8, but still...stupid is as stupid does. We do have a small hope that MY will not flounder, but merely stream it, via their website. I blame the local GM's for knuckling under...they should know better!
 
B106 did "Christmas wrapping music" for at least a little while last night. (on Nov 7).
I know Im not typical - but the bulkk of my Christmas wrapping is at 10:30 on Christmas Eve :D

I LOVE IT.... Maybe CAROLINA 92.1 will become NEW 92 after the holidays since Tim thinks resurrecting COUNTRY LEGENDS 94.3 is the right thing to do. I mean it started out as Country Legends, flipped to FLASHBACK 94.3 then THE RIVER under his genius and now back to Country Legends!
 
I'd give them a break on this one. It's a logical thing for an AC station to do. If well done, it results in more ears. Hopefully. Not many retirees are getting tans at a tanning salon or getting tacos at a campus mexican restaurant.

I wondered that as well, but most (if not all) Cumulus AC's flip to all-Christmas, so who knows. That was a unique thing about Citadel, compared to even big companies like CBS and Entercom - not many of their AC's made the switch.
