WXDX New Morning Host

First of all, Eric O'Brien is only as "old" as he looks. Secondly, PBRTV mentioned Tim Benz's hosting the morning show at WXDX not long after it happened. A big deal had not been made about the whole thing so it got honorable mention.

My humble opinion is that Benz's morning show is not intended to last forever, but I could be totally wrong.

Unless there's more than 1 of them, I think I know who you might be mentioning. This person uses the name of a PT disc jockey in the market.....claims to be from either WPTS (Pitt's student station) or WRCT (CMU).....and gets press credentials to Penguin & Steeler games. This person's so bold as to NOT even carry a tape recorder when he goes to the games. Well, I'll end just by saying unless a certain car dealership along Route 51 in Pleasant Hills has a radio station, this person is B-O-G-U-S!

I'm still waiting for Boss Radio to actually post something about radio. So far, all he has posted is diatribes and accusations that some people aren't qualified to say what they say. Yet he's never posted anything to indicate anything anyone else has posted is wrong. He's never posted anything to refute or contradict anything anyone else has said.

He just whines about other peoples' credentials.

Does anyone actually know who Boss Radio is? Is he really just the guy who records the traffic advisories and alerts for PennDOT's messages on 1690 AM? Or is he the midnight man on WURP?

To Eric of PBRTV, we know your young man. I just didn't see that you mentioned Tim Benz. You have a very good website and I am a fan of yours. I apologize.

As to Boss Radio, don't feel bad. I have always noticed that Radio Realist has always been sometimes a smart aleck to people especially if you are not sure about something. I haven't been in the radio business as long as he has here in Pittsburgh and I will admit that I am new and not as smart as he is, but what gets me upset is that he makes me feel like I am an idiot when I don't know something and I have to ask. That is why I ask on here because you guys are the most well versed people in Pittsburgh radio and most of you are willing to share your knowledge and opinion without treating me like I am some idiot. Realist won't admit that he can be ignorant at times (not all the time but sometimes), but I see others who have the same problem with him. He isn't a bad guy at all, he knows his stuff, but lets say he can be like the Michael Savage of our board meaning that you too better know your stuff before you take him on or come off not knowing something. Realist if your a Conservative, take that as a compliment, but if you are a liberal....haha.... My apoligizes to all for starting a war on here.
