Hey all ---
This week, WYAB 103.9 FM flipped on its FM Class C2 signal (50kW equivalent, 15kW @ 276 meters HAAT) from a tower shared with WJLV 94.7 FM and four FM translators (96.9 FM, 102.5 FM, 103.5 FM, and 106.3 FM) in Jackson.
Here is a coverage map of the new signal:
For anyone who is interested, the station started off as a (very) signal-challenged short-spaced FM Class A facility on 93.1 FM in Yazoo City, about 37 miles away from its current location. It took 22 years and many tower sites to hopscotch its way into Jackson.
