Y-95 vs 97.1 The Eagle: Retro CHR

Does anyone have any Aubrey Hayden audio.... I was looking for a commercial for Buzz Post with Aubrey saying "Buzz DOES!" ??

At that time (1987). I was the music director at BJ-105/Orlando, and The Eagle was one of the stations we watched when it came to music 'adds'.

BJ-105, a Nationwide Station!!

Hey John-

When were you in Orlando, what years?

I was at I-100 in 1985/1986: "WNFI - Palatka, Daytona Beach, Gainesville, Orlando, Jacksonville" which as you know was really and truly our live top of the our legal ID as funny as it seems today.
The station was based/studioed in Ormand Beach, FL

Do you remember Y-106, Leesburg-Orlando? I always though Y-106 was a more Z-100 like station.

I remember I-100 very well. I used to drive from Pittsburgh to Ft. Lauderdale quite a bit from '83-'85, and I always listened when I blew through Daytona/Jax. Then, when I got the gig at BJ-105, I continued to listen a bit. Quite a spot load you guys had there.(lol)...a harbinger of things to come, I guess. I had a blast in Orlando. We did very well in a competitive environment. With I-100, Y-106 and 102 JAMZ, ALL on the air, we, eventually went from a 15 share in teens to a 45 share! Good times.
