Y101 Crawfish Boil

It appears I have started trouble with my comment and other people are getting in trouble for it. I am sorry, I did not mean to cause such an uproar. I was simply talking about someone's lovely voice....Which is by the way, NOT "so annoying it makes me want to jump out of my car while it's moving" like dozens of people have descibed her voice to me....I take offense to that!

different strokes for different folks, i guess

I, for one, think her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard...her and Lauren Ray both...

Okay, I never post anything on here, but I figured if I was going to, might as well be now. Chas3r--I respect your opinion. As you said, "different strokes for different folks." You can't be loved (or even liked) by everybody. But if you're going to insult me, think you could at least spell my name right? ;)

I was going to spell it Rae to begin with, but I didn't think it was right...my bad. I didn't mean to insult you, it's just my opinion. You know what every says about them...take it with a grain of salt.

I'll still listen. You can even mention it on the show...as long as it's after 5, or else I can't hear it.

I'm back in my middays shift now so I'm done at 3. But thanks for listening! I always appreciate that as do my co-workers. :)

oh yeah, i forgot about that...how's the new PD working out? i was kinda bummed that Nate didn't get it/take it...

So far, so good. It's always a bit of an adjustment when someone leaves and someone else comes in. But I think he's fitting in pretty well. He's excited and got some good ideas and you can't really ask for much more than that.

sorry about that...i guess i got carried away...i'll leave it to PM's and such from here on out.

i know i know...everybody pick on the new kid...i get it all the time

I just wanted to end this thread by saying that I do appreciate "radiotimes" for their apology. After they falsely accused me, they realized their error and apologized. That was nice. I am glad that they were mature enough to come around and do the right thing. Now we can all move forward and debate over the serious issues in radio. Like big conglomerates taking over and who can forget Arbitron ratings.

awww, quit it... you're making me blush :) I just want to say, this is the best air-staff I've worked with in 10 years. If anyone on here has ever worked with these people you know what I'm talking about. Each of them are all dedicated to the focus of the station. I'm lucky to walk into such a great situation.

and let me just say Jackson ROCKS!!! didn't know if i could handle being land-locked coming from Va beach, but this place really is awesome!

I still can't believe that "olemissy" actually graduated from college. I remember when I used to get free samples of Tide in the mail, that must be how Ole' Miss gives out diplomas.

How dare you! Someone told me that "olemissy" is Allison...and if that's the case then i will not sit by and let you talk about her that way. She is a delicate flower with a beautiful voice.....it definately does NOT make me want to "drink battery acid just so the sweet release of death will allow me to escape the sound of her nails on the chalk board voice" like soooooo many people have said to me!

LOL.....You are right. The one and only Allison. But then again, you don't exactly have to be a brain surgeon to read traffic reports.
