Yet, Another Major Fan Announcement

I asked my coworker (one of the fan's few loyal listeners), and he said he listened at 5pm till 6 and there was nothing. He said he texted the show that was on at 5:30 and they never responded.

I heard rumors that The Fan might flip to AMP Radio. Is this true?

Wow, this is just sad. Even my evening ratings back in 2002-2003 on 105.3 were much better than this, and I got fired. No announcement? Who jumped the gun on this one? Just because someone can program a station in Detroit to #1 (yes, the Ticket that is run by CBS is #1) doesn't mean the same content works here. I wish them all the best, but I can't listen to any show more than 5 minutes. I always find myself listening to Mike and Corby. Now, if we can get something interesting going on morning drive. That timeslot is the cause for most of my road rage!

From Richie Whitt:

Where's Greggo? Be here Monday morning for the official announcement. As a bonus, I'll also reveal another familiar local radio voice(s) returning to the air on 105.3 The Fan come June 1. In the biz, we call that a tease.

Yeah, that'll fix it. ::)

No kidding. Look at that line up. Jagger, Barsky, Newey, Richie, Gavin, Greg and Arnie. (Sounds like a law firm, doesn't it?) Add greggo and some other recycled loser (Fisher? Wally Lynn? Mike Irvin?) and you're going to have 8 or 9 hosts. On a station TWENTIETH in the Men 25-54 demo. How long is CBS going to keep hemmorahging that kind of money?

What they could do is-----FLIP!!!!!!!!!!

If they're desparate enough to hire Greggo, my bet is they call Russ and tell him he needs to show up for work as well.

metro you spilled the beans before the big announcement could be made. Starting June 1st from 3-7 it is the return of The Russ Martin Show with Greggo, Dan O'Malley and Clo. It's the only way they could beat The Hardline. :eek: Greggo and Dan bring the sports and Russ and Clo bring the funny...

Sorry... I've been kinda busy bashing the other side of CBS since they cancelled all of my favorite shows!
Ghost Whisperer
Numb3rs
Miami Medical
Old Christine
Accidentally on Purpose
Gary Unmarried

How desperate would CBS have to be to bring Russ back?
