we’ll never have to ask ever again, “Hey what’s the lowest share in the history of the 97.1 signal?”Uh. Then I agree with @Loverofradio. Yikes.
I owe an apology to @davideduardo @michael hagerty and maybe @TheBigA. I said for years this would work. I will never insult yalls expertise again!! 😔
Apparently so.Is this group really judging the success of a radio station on a sample of NINE days?

it tells me that the core sports listeners are rejecting the format and are staying loyal to the shows they listen to already.
They’ve been doing billboards throughout L.A., in conjunction with the Rams in hopes of Aaron Donald returningIt tells me that core sports listeners don't even know the station exists. How would they know it's even there?
Has the station done ANY promotion? Other than telling news listeners about the change?
No you guys are right, it’s not right to judge the station nine days after the launch. I’ve launched a sports station before, on AM. The ratings never got that low and definitely weren’t that low in the first monthly let alone first few days.
At the end of the day, yes, these numbers don’t even matter. But, we’ve still got a right to clown a massive drop-off, especially when KNX-AM is at a 3.5.
Cool. Now tell me every billboard you’ve seen while at the wheel of a car in the past nine days and which, if any of them, spurred you to a response. They’ve been doing billboards throughout L.A., in conjunction with the Rams in hopes of Aaron Donald returning

I thought the point of Audacy launching the station when they did meant some tie ins to the World Cup? But nope, nothing. They really talk more Dodgers/Lakers/Rams with brief mentions of the WC.Doing a remote from the World Cup game at SoFi last week would have been more effective.
