....when radio made an "event" out of a remote broadcast and actually did the "broadcast" with real radio hook ups,engineer and all and not a "taped" cheesy sounding cell phone call, to be played back in a stop set. Actually live and with live , on the spot interviews, not knowing ahead of time what may come out of the interviewees mouth,. Ahh, good ol' seat O' the pants broadcasting.........working without a net.
