Hey, a lot of us older guys don't get a lot of exposure on the air either. I run into people all the time(like last night for instance) who remember me(or my voice) from my live radio days from years ago and they ask me why someone with my voice isn't on the radio anymore - standard answer: no gigs. Automation, ageism(my former employers could have moved me to one of their other stations when they eliminated my position, but alas, they did not. They seem to have a lot of young people on the air - they're probably making the same money that I made, but I guess if you're trying to get listeners in their 20s, 30s and early 40s, you can't have old guys in their 50s doing public appearances. We also don't make good ass kissers).
As far as you people, there's always talented people coming up the ranks in all human endeavors. But if the talent isn't given the exposure by the corporate music and broadcast industries, well then you're not going to hear the talent.
