Your clearest very far analog/digital TV DX

In 1973 I was in the Air Force stationed in Shreveport LA. I am from WNY. One afternoon I noticed the Merv Griffin Show on ch 4 which was vacant in Shreveport. I thought that I probably got ch 4 in Dallas via tropo. I remembered that ch 4 in Buffalo back home had Merv Griffin (which was a syndicated show) on at the same time. The signal was local quality. I saw the station ID and much to my surprise it was WBEN-TV (now WIVB) Buffalo! I switched over to ch 5 and got CBLT Toronto! A taste of home for this serviceman!
