You're kidding right? I don't even think this station should be classified as CHR. Arbitron had it as a CHR/Rhythmic for a long time and they're repeat is extreme.
I recently announced to change #2 and #1. And even then, how much Rhythmic a CHR plays does not classify as how good or bad it is. I actually find liking my market's CHR (KRQQ) topping the rhythmic (KOHT), and in some cities I like their Hot AC more than anything (Phoenix is an obvious choice with Mix, then again I like Kiss), and in some cities I prefer their rhythmic (Chicago, WKSC sounds like junk, at least WBBM has an interesting playlist). And only for the music they play. If they don't play the songs I like, I won't listen, simple as that, and that's what my top 10 is based on. (remember, I never mentioned anything about genre-balance, if that were the case half of those wouldn't be on there) Since WKGS and WJJS both play a ton of rhythmic, I'm probably craving mostly rhythmic songs right now (which is true since the rock on the charts right now is Hinder/Nickelback junk I can't tolerate), or they're playing the rhythmic songs I like.
as for Cox's websites, I agree they stink. But hey at least they all stream and offer song title info.
I'd agree with this...
