When you all use the term PULSE, are you talking about a hot dance urban format, or the Pulse format which is offered on Sirius, a mix of Modern Rock and Newer Pop....just curious...

Though, wouldn't call it "urban" in the sense that term is usually used in radio, meaning most of the listeners are black. It's "urban" in the actual definition of the word: it's "city" format not a suburban format.
I would think a dance station would lean white and English-speaking-Hispanic.
Thanks for the great info....I am in an urban area of the city, where most residents are white and rock oriented, must be an exception to the urban rule...
YSP must be getting ready to make a move, since one of their jocks decided to join his father (Howard Eskin, a.k.a. The Orange Goblin) on his sports talk radio show, even if for just a day. obviously he's trying to market himself as something more than a rock DJ.
