Zone Begins New Live and Local Midday Show

I for one liked Darren. He went outside the box to do something different in the 2pm hour.
It wasnt the same old stuff that was covered with the wake up show or afternoon show. I also liked the fact that he would at times stand up to George and not be just a yes man. With this new mid day show we get the same talk talked to death over and over and now over again. Thats my take....OUT!

I have to disa gree with you this one. A lot of the times, it was the same old stuff that was covered on the other shows. Take NFL Tuesday, for instance. Darren or a caller would ask John McLain a question on Tuesday and John McLain would answer it. Then when John McLain was on the Zone's afternoon show Wendesday, Darren or the exact same caller would ask John McLain the same question as they did the day before and when John McLain would answer it, Darren would act amazed about the answer he got from John McLain and wondered why he never thought of that even though he had just heard the answer a little more than 24 hours earlier. And a lot of the same morning and afternoon callers would also call his shows and we would have to listen to them three times a day.

The Zone is missing any strong local personalities. There are just no names you will remember at the end of the day, maybe Plaster but that's about it.

That's true....there's that guy 'Frank'....whatever, former hockey player???, he's only been here since the Titans came...what's that 10 or 12 years ago. I never can remember those other two guys...although one of them has a face that's reminds me of someone who used to be on channel 5 doing sports, is his name maybe Mack? ...and Kevin, oh yea, Ingram...he used to work doing news at WSM. And Willie.....I believe he came with 99.7 when they were purchased by Gaylord.
Guess you're right, Plaster...is it Greg....never gets out in the community or does anything to help charaties or anything.
Spew....I believe you're right....The Zone is missing any strong local personalities. Wish I'd noticed that.

Yeah, I sometimes see "Frank" Plaster at the Y and he's always nice and even says hi and talks. but mostly a few times they/he (Plaster guy) crashed the Crows Nest Sports Bar when I am drinking gin and bother everybody by bringing in a whole crowd of people who don't know them in. And, he even sometimes gives
me a t-shirt there, but I gave it back because I have lots of those and figure all those other people watching
him are just trying to figure out who he is, so they'd prefer a t-shirt...

Maybe RQQ will do a better job with Sports like they have with this weeks format. Give me a break, Spew.
