Please understand I wasn’t tearing Goldhawk down. He does an OK job. I just wish he did it on a different radio station, 640, CFRB, anywhere but my music station.

The music on 740 veers all over and too often toward rock & roll and what sounds like moaning & wailing to me. If I wanted jumpy music I would tune in Oldies-1150 and sometimes do but I can only take it in small doses.

Let’s have more Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, Frankie Laine, Kay Star, the 4 Aces, Vic Damone, Jo Stafford and Perry Como. They really were the best of the best.
