Christmas music should be limited to December 18 to December 31. That's more than enough and the way it used to be done. Who needs 2 months of Christmas music?
Just like last year, here is the alternate Star 102: http://player.tritonmedia.com/entercom/WTSSFM2
Kind of hard to find Christmas in a lot of places. Christmas perhaps used to be done 12/18-12/31, but people were never used to reaching and grasping for anything they could grasp and hold that was pure, wholesome and lovely - just a few of those tangible intangibles that Christmas represents, beyond the commercial - in a world where Halloween increasingly seems to last all year.
True, but most stores play music from satellite delivered services while Suzie Creamcheese listens to Star or Mix. Mind numbing. If the CIA really wants to break the detainees at Gitmo, don't water board them. Just play all Xmas 24-7 for a few months. That'll make the bastards talk. The Guy Who Posted Before Me said:XMAS Music formats serve the retailers not the sheep who listen...
