Is it really paying off for Cox to have 2 100,000 watt Class C's with lots of overlap playing the same format. Do they really believe in the "Eagle" brand that much. Top 40 and the "Eagle" brand of faux Classic-Hits seem like two formats Cox overexposes.
I for one say that branch off one of the stations into an 70's and 80's-based Greatest Hits format. While at it add some music from the 60's and 90's as well. Just a mix of Pop, Adult Contemporary, Rock and even some 80's Alt Rock. Add in a great jingle package/ presentation in general and you have a station.
