Cool beans! Gonna have to stream the new show and hear how it sounds.
I streamed it and it was a fun listen. Chime Time and all of Bruce's jingles.

Yes, Bruce is back on WABC Saturday nights.
I imagine he still has the rights to his theme song.

As always, I stand to be corrected, but I believe WMyx (99.1) is the HD-2 channel with the MeTV FM format. Last time I checked, it was streaming on Radio.com. If not, one of my favorite online streams, 2CH from Australia, has a similar music mix. Albeit with live jocks 24/7 hourly newscast and a slightly heavier commercial load.
As for WZTI, "The Fonz" is the latest in a long series of format changes on the at Milwaukee's 1290 dial spot. The 60s-70s oldies so far seems to have more staying power than the other recent attempts. No doubt thanks...,at least in part....to the two translators. Good thing they have those....I was trying to listen on a suburban Milwaukee SDR (online receiver) one nighght a couple of weeks ago, and "The Fonz" was getting clobbered on 1290 by WIRL from Peoria. WIRL is also oldies, so perhaps nobody notices!
I don't think WJMK 1250 Bridgeport, MI and their translator on 99.3 have an online stream. I also know that every time I've listened recently, the modulation on both the AM and the FM translator were quite low.
No online stream shown.

I talked to Mr. Bernstein when WJMK 1250 signed on. They wanted to store the call letters. They don't call it Magic 1250, it's MeTV.
Good idea grabbing those call letters.
Even though those call letters are a "dyslexic" form of Magic/WMJK.
I didn't realize that the call letters WJMK had also been on 100.9 Pinconning, MI, in the same market as WJMK 1250/99.3. That is now WLUN. The call letters WMJK are now on 100.9 Clyde, OH. That station also once had the legendary Boston 1510 WMEX call letters.
Never understood why London had the same frequencies as Dayton, 980, 1290, and 1410
Speaking of MeTV-FM, did they switch formats? Didn't see the news anywhere. Last few times I've had it on, it is "Air1", another Christian station, because we all needed more of that.

I'm glad, at least through next July, right?
But in three separate vehicles I've been getting Air1.
Driving around the western/NW suburbs.
It seemed pretty consistent. I mean, I was waiting for it to fade out and METV to come back over it, but it never happened.
I think I checked last night in the truck, sitting in front of my house and it was still Air 1. I haven't looked today. But if I remember, next time I'm in my car, and it's still Air 1, I'll take a pic. I am closer in here at work in Glendale Heights, so maybe being closer will make a difference.
