WBZ Boston’s news radio jumps to a 1st place tie.
Is that a first for BZ, --a #1-- I don't remember seeing it?
BZ-FM not doing bad either.
Why isn't WZLX listed ?
Is Nielsen using a new ratings methodology and is it causing this station shuffle ?
How often do you see an AM station at #1, and two AMs in the Top 5?
Meanwhile, there are threads saying "AM is dead." Maybe it is, but not in Boston.

If WRKO is able to maintain some of their recent audience gains into 2021 (which is certainly a dubious proposition), they should be able to tack on some new $$$.
Strong biller or not, COVID or not, WRKO's recent numbers are astounding.
The 18-34 sample must be feeling the pandemic pressure...all of the rhythmic stations are struggling (outside of Kiss). The year over year on WBQT is staggering, WJMN down per usual but without Amp in the picture, somebody should be picking up mrk share...and the newer programming format on WKAF, forget about it (DOA)...
It is delightful to see News and Talk doing so well in Boston! WRKO had no identity before iHeart came in and gave it focus.
