That's an interesting point. Any indication that Kuhner or Howie listen to the station when they're not on? Do they ever reference other talk show hosts? You can bet if there was an outage or technical glitch during their show, they'd scream about it for days.
I don't listen to kuhner, you'd have to pay me to listen to him.....and howie has been phoning it in for years and has basically become unlistenable especially since he hired the twit, but, I digress. Howie does refer to limbaugh every so often..says things like, rush said today that...bla bla bla....when I did listen to kuhner about 8 years ago give or take, he'd repeat almost verbatim what limbaugh said the day before and not mention that he heard rush say it and then when whatever it was came true, kuhner would take credit for it...see I told you....SMH....I have zero interest in listening to him.
I'm talking about 'back in the day' before I started listening to talkradio...back in the 70's and 80's is when employees of radio stations basically HAD to listen to the station, people like Mark Parenteau, Matt Siegel, etc etc etc and these days I would think if you're an engineer at the station you would take shifts and be listening in case something went wrong, these days the station (Talk1200) won't even answer the phone, return voicemails, answer emails respond to facebook messages, or even respond to twitter messages, just total silence except for one Iheart employee who posted his email addy in this forum for people to report any issues with the station. And my understanding is everything is programmed through a computer, no humans at the station and don't get me started on the repetitive newscasts, same tired newscast all damn day and nite, oh yes, they do change up a word or two every 6 hours or so, but, that's it, it's just the same thing over and over.
