Nice job on getting so many stations. Right now I live in an apartment in a high-rise building in Chicago, and I have to stick my radio near the window and hope for the best. This makes nulling stations difficult, and when we have these auroral conditions I might get one or two or three new ones, but never a whole list of new stations like you did last night. And one more new one to make it a lucky seven for the night: 980 WYFN Nashville with legal ID at the top of the hour, 1 a.m. CT 1/22, right over WITY Danville. I'm packing it in.
I've been hearing West Palm Beach here (Fort Myers) daytime on 850, alone with a pretty good signal. No trace of CubaThere are two Cubans on 850. Radio Reloj out of Nueva Gerona and Radio Progreso out of Trinidad. Both are listed as 1 kW. The continuous time pips and the "RR" code really helps hearing and identifying those Radio Reloj outlets.

Kept hearing something on 1710 on the Drake, couldn't pull it in.
But the Airspy Discovery HF+ and the Youloop antenna bagged it-
WQFG689, Jersey City, all of 10 watts of course, at 292 miles
(Richmond, VA). I think that's my furthest/least powerful.
When I lived in Fla., I recall keeping 950, Miami, which was then progressive talk, almost all the way to Sarasota on I-75. It was very staticy. From Fort Myers Florida. 5:00AM EST this morning, a strong Spanish language signal on 1270. Frequent mentions of Columbia, so I presume that;s where it's from. Are any of you guys familiar with what this one might be?
Whoa - nice one Jim! Graveyard logs over 600 miles are rare, and anything in that range (non-auroral) is extremely rare. I think my farthest non-auroral Graveyard log was KUGR 1490 Green River, WY, but it helped that they were a little off-frequency.
There is no 950 in Miami... there is one on 940, though. 850 is West Palm Beach, not Miami. When I lived in Fla., I recall keeping 950, Miami, which was then progressive talk, almost all the way to Sarasota on I-75. It was very staticy.
850 came in okay in Fort Myers, too, but didn't last too long going north.
From Quito, I got several North Dakota and Montana "graveyarders" at around 3,500 miles back when all of the former Class IV stations were 250 watts at night.Except in alaska.. lol.. My farthest graveyard log here is KPYV 1340 Oroville, CA.. about 2350 miles
Still in Ft. Myers this morning. Next stop later today is just up the road in Sarasota. There is no 950 in Miami... there is one on 940, though. 850 is West Palm Beach, not Miami.
When I first visited south Fla., I was totally unimpressed with 610's signal.Still in Ft. Myers this morning. Next stop later today is just up the road in Sarasota.
940 is one of the better Miam daytimei signals here (Ft Myers). Not great, but between fair and good. 560 is surprisingly weak, but the bigger surprise is 610 which is getting trashed by Cuba. And of course 670 and 710 are also a mix of Cuba and Miami. 790 also mixes with Cuba, but Miami gets the better of it thanks to their STA. Cuba trips the scan button in the car on 530. 640, 950, and 1180.
Unfortunately my hotel here is not a good DX spot. I've been in worse, but there's still a rather high noise floor. A hospital and shopping mall across the street probably don't help matters
