From the southwest suburbs of Chicago:

1440 WZYX Cowan, Tenn., matched to stream with adult rock. Supposedly 66 watts night, but 5 kW day power is as likely. Lots of IDs and local ads; IDed at 2:12 a.m. 11/26.
It would appear that they are a "repeat offender" as I have them logged from about 8 months ago in similar circumstances. Normally anything I could log on 1440 at night would be WROK or WIBU.

DFW, Texas — Sangean ATS-909X -- Times are CST.

New stations logged:

690 XEMA Zac Fresnillo 11/22 1950 "La Mejor" ID, regional music // stream in KGGF/XEN null. Fair.
950 KJTV TX Lubbock 11/26 0700 ESPN programming, ToH ID "The Score". Fair and alone on freq.
1020 Radio Artemisa Cuba Bahía Honda 11/22 2013 Tropical style music // stream, under KCKN, weak.
1400 KKTK TX Texarkana 11/25 1800 Arkansas Razorbacks postgame show, briefly on top.
1490 KMFS OK Guthrie 11/23 1933 Male preaching // stream. Fading in and out to top.
1490 KBIX OK Muskogee 11/23 1945 "Las Americas" IDs. Fading in and out to the top.
1660 WCNZ FL Marco Island 11/25 2211 Relevant Radio programming, fair in KRZI/KWOD null.
1680 WOKB FL Winter Garden 11/25 2249 Urban gospel // stream, very weak in KRJO fade.

Currently in Rockport, TX, near Corpus Christi.

Just logged 1200 WFCN in Nashville, TN, a new one for me. Station was in/out, mixing with WOAI, and playing soft Christian pop by Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, and others. Heard occasional Moody Radio IDs and got a full station ID at 2300 CT.

WFCN is supposed to be a daytimer and was presumably transmitting at 10 kW. Distance was 819 miles and radio was a Kaito 1103 (non-DSP).

ALERT
It looks like Radio Rebelde is OFF AIR on 1620khz. Loyd Van Horn in LA is getting a mix of WNRP FL and WDHP USVI instead. If you need some 'other' 1620s, go get 'em!

An unusual night on the Oahu SDR,

On 820, KCBF Fairbanks temporarily took over the usual WBAP Dallas.

On 610, KONA Kennewick, Washington temporarily took over the usual KEAR San Francisco.

KTRB from SFO dominating 860 Khz here, with Calif spots and several IDs, in the Seattle area, with no sign of (much closer) Portland's KPAM, which usually dominates. KNCO Grass Valley CA 830 also much stronger than usual. Hadn't heard KNCO that loud in years. Either they had the day power on (improbable?) or it was the semi-Auroral conditions. All on my Sony ICF-38 and a crate loop.

UNID 940 Madonna, Belinda Carlisle '80s music? I can't find ANYTHING that matches. KVSH NE goes off-air in the early AM hours. CJGX is country. KYNO is oldies not // stream. Not XEQ. Not KDIL.
930 KBAI Bellingham WA in with more '80s music // stream...hard to believe this is a station that points most of the lobe away from Idaho! Now hearing country music from likely KRKY Granby, CO, plus conservative talk from likely KSEI Pocatello on the other side of the state. Active channel!
1700 KVNS Brownsville TX on top with Fox Sports, with likely KKLF under. Not bad!
1390 KENN Farmington NM with Coast to Coast
1130 KQNA Prescott Valley AZ local ads...aren't they supposed to be a daytimer? CKWX mostly on top
980 KFWB Los Angeles CA 'La Mera Mera', no sign of CKNW and a weak mix under
1420 KUJ Walla Walla WA on top 100AM TOH
1510 KPLS Littleton CO Radio 74 way over KGA's 540 watts
AND...a VERY WEAK but audible KLVZ-810 Brighton CO under KGO!! It's so hard to get anything under KGO after dark, but there they are...with Stephen Bishop and Carl Perkins songs.

Your UNID 940 sounds like XEMMM Mexicali BC, 70s/80s oldies "con mil watts potencia"

This past Tuesday and Wednesday shortly after 4 p.m. CT, I heard a news station on 1600 with a "Bloomberg Radio" ID. It was mixing with semi-local KOKE in Pflugerville (near Austin). I was driving in my home town, San Antonio, on both occasions and was not able to listen long enough to get an ID.

At first I thought maybe KRVA in Cockrell Hill (near DFW) switched from its Vietnamese format because that's the first station I usually hear mixing in with KOKE around sunset.

The only station within a reasonable distance I can find that lists Bloomberg Radio in its programming is KUSH in Cushing, OK. However, the program schedule on the station's website only lists it for Saturdays. Then again, KUSH's programming doesn't always match that schedule.

On Friday and Saturday I was able to listen on 1600 shortly before 4 p.m. through sunset. I heard no trace of the Bloomberg station, but I did hear KRVA's Vietnamese talk/music and KUSH in and out with country music (although its schedule lists the Clark Howard show at that time).

Does this station ring a bell with anyone? Maybe KUSH airs Bloomberg News at this time on certain weekdays?

A winter Sporadic-E event is happening in right now, 9:29 a.m. CT. Here is San Antonio, TX, I am receiving 91.1 WIBI in Carlinville, IL, and I previously had an UNID American Family Radio station on the frequency.

Mystery solved. Listened to the KUSH webstream today, and Bloomberg Radio News was aired at 4 p.m. CT.

Beat me to it - I can confirm this. I heard KUSH this afternoon at just past 4:30 with Bloomberg Radio content //stream. They were pretty strong today, completely overwhelming KOKE with no sign of KRVA.

West side of Houston, TX, Sony ICF-SW7600GR, times CST

A few new ones:

1200 WFCN TN, Nashville 12/7 1715 fair in WOAI null w/abortion discussion //stream.
1200 unID while logging WFCN, heard country Christmas tunes. Maybe KYOO but no clear announcements heard.
1250 KYYS MO Kansas City 12/5 1728 music and talk in Spanish, ads mentioning KC //stream.
1350 XECTZ Puebla, Cuetzalan 12/7 1700 good in KXTN/WWWL null w/instrumental mx, clear ID on the hour.
1490 KBIX OK Muskogee 12/5 1746 good briefly w/regional Mexican music and ID as Radio Las Americas.

ALERT ALERT ALERT

Need Montana? Try 770 now for KATL Miles City...on 10,000 watt day power!
Also, KIKK-650 Houston TX seems to be on 250 watt day power, with sports betting/CBS Sports programming.

Go get 'em!

EDIT - 870 KFLD Pasco WA seems way stronger than normal and likely on day pattern too! Joe Pags show

KIKK doesn't seem to be on the air now, ~11pm CST. I'm about 20 miles west of their tower.

1090 KMXA CO, Aurora 12/10 0820 strong at times after KAAY fadeout w/TUDN Spanish sports //stream.

Daytime skywave season has definitely arrived!

Ottawa, Canada SDR 1:35pm CDT KCJJ with ads for Iowa City businesses. fair-good signal. 2pm 1700 KBGG (Des Moines) with positive ID and fair signal. 1690 WVON (Chicago) also in.

Also heard: WFAN, WOR, WABC. WBBM, WCCO, WCBS, WINS, WBZ. WBZ with a good signal was by far the strongest signal.

I had a listenable signal in my car from 880 KRVN with auction listings mentioning Ogallala, Burwell, Maywood, and Torrington (which is just across the Wyoming line). This was last night around 5:30pm EST along US-131 south of Grand Rapids, MI. KRVN was still on day pattern (nondirectional), as in December they don't go directional until 5:15pm CST (6:15pm EST)
