99 X Is Back

i can’t get the station to stream on Alexa, iheart, or anywhere else the past few days.

Because the OLD 99X played a bunch of varied indie alternative stuff, same with the hits.

Look at 99X radio records on Worldradiohistory, lots of stuff (especially local) that Atlanta people would def remember.

At least 91X TRIES to play some stuff that hasn’t been played in a while, same with new music.

Per 99X, to be announced tomorrow during the morning show.

Also, from listening to the music mentioned on today's 99X on-air promos for "Organic X" -- and from old Matt "Organic" Jones himself -- post-2008 artists will start to show up on his Sunday morning show. Starts 7a-12p ET this Sunday. Will be interesting to see how he/they bring them in.

Correct. There have been multiple delays here. I recall Barnes saying he was going to the Grammy’s to get the new host and would announce them when he got back. That was almost three weeks ago. He said they would have Leslie by phone on Monday morning to help ring in the new host.

You mean the person who was at the original incarnation for its entire 17 year run as part of the morning show. And was APD or PD for the entire time is a strange choice? And has hosted a podcast with her former/current co-host for the past few years? Baffling, I tell you...

Just seemed strange that she'd leave an executive role at CMT to do a local morning show in Atlanta. I understand now. Glad I provided some amusement, though.
