If TBD comes to KCWX 2.1, then CW AND MyNetworkTV would be on WOAI 4.2 together just like KFMB.
Highly doubt this will ever happen.

If WADL and WKBD and WMYD are all independent, then there will be NO CW or MyNetworkTV affiliation there.
Guess no one saw this coming. Now the only question is will the PGA expand its deal to include The CW after 2023 now that LIV is null and void.![]()
PGA Tour And Saudi-Backed LIV Golf Agree To Merge, Ending Bitter Legal Feud
Ending two years of rancor and legal warfare, the PGA Tour has agreed to merge with Saudi-backed LIV Golf. In a joint statement, the two organizations declared the stunning turn of events “a landmark agreement to unify the game of golf, on a global basis.” Technically, the pact that was...deadline.com
Woah also LIV's broadcast deal with the CW is what sparked Paramount to pull it's CW affiliation contract in places in San Francisco and Sacramento due to CW's broadcast as violating the CBS sports contract in these places.
What is Nexstar's next move with sports contracts is yet to be seen. Does it share the PGA contract or not.Guess no one saw this coming. Now the only question is will the PGA expand its deal to include The CW after 2023 now that LIV is null and void.
San Diego has 5 full power comercially licensed stations 4 below a duopoly limit. Consider how LA and Tijuana have more full powered stations inbetween. The KUSI news came out of left field. I didn't expect the current owner of that station to sell, since I'm sure they've had offers to sell in the past. Maybe the economy forced them to sell.
In any case, I doubt that Nexstar can keep two separate newsrooms for long. So I'm thinking that they'll sell KSWB to Fox Corp. at some point, maybe by next year.
Of course. The blanket mandate to have all the stations look alike was the obvious precursor. Funny that local research led them to the exact same results in every city…as if that line was ever anything other than parody.

Here is more Paramount does cuts at their O&O's.

I think you're more likely to see Nextstar continue to run both stations, with KSWB continuing to be Fox and KUSI becoming The CW once KFMB.2's contract with the CW runs out. They'll likely run both out of the same building. (If duopoly rules get in the way, a Nexstar sidecar such as Mission will technically own KUSI.The KUSI news came out of left field. Here's an update, I think that this fall, here's what I think might happen..
Philadelphia, PA:
WPSG will become an Independent, and WPHL becomes a dual CW/MyNetworkTV affiliate.
The CW would air every night on the station from 8pm-10pm replacing "Family Night Everynight", while retaining MyNetworkTV airing weeknights from 2am-4am.
San Francisco, CA:
KBCW will become an Independent*, KRON drops MyNetworkTV and joins The CW, while KICU picks up MyNetworkTV programming
Atlanta, GA:
WUPA will become an Independent, and WPCH becomes an affiliate of The CW.
Detroit, MI
WKBD will become an Independent, and WADL becomes a dual CW/MyNetworkTV affiliate.
The CW would air every night on the station from 8pm-10pm, with MyNetworkTV airing in the overnight hours.
Seattle, WA
KSTW will become an Independent, and KONG becomes an affiliate of The CW.
Tampa, FL
WTOG will become an Independent, WTTA drops MyNetworkTV and joins The CW, while WMOR picks up MyNetwork programming
San Diego, CA
KFMB-DT2 will become the sole MyNetworkTV affiliate, and KUSI becomes an affiliate of The CW.
* = KBCW could revert it's call letters back to KBHK.
As for WPHL, I think that this fall, the evening scheduling, could look like this...
6:00 pm - The Goldbergs
6:30 pm - The Big Bang Theory
7:00 pm - Modern Family
7:30 pm - Friends
8:00 pm - The CW Prime-Time Programming
10:00 pm - Action News at 10:00pm
Boston doesn't have a My Network TV Affiliate since WSBK TV 38 dropped them and returned to being a Independent station.
... Maybe KUSI will run The CW from 9PM-11 PM to make room for Fox 5 News at 8 PM on CW 9.
Fox might buy KSWB or the even WPSG, WUPA and WTOG at some point with WPSG, WUPA and WTOG would join MNTV. Gray or Scripps might buy the dispaced KSTW or KMAX.It will be interesting how Paramount will handle KSTW, WUPA and WTOG given that they cannot get CBS programming directly when in these cities the CBS affiliation is run by another party. Unless there are certain shows that KIRO, WANF and WTSP has to pre-empt for News reasons. But pre-empted shows can be found on the Paramount+ app.
I’d put all of my money on none of that happening.Fox might buy KSWB or the even WPSG, WUPA and WTOG at some point with WPSG, WUPA and WTOG would join MNTV. Gray or Scripps might buy the dispaced KSTW or KMAX.

No way I see Fox dropping WAGA or WTVT.This makes as much sense as Nexstar's primary stations all dropping whatever Big 4 affiliation for The CW. Won't ever happen, sorry.
