Cluelessly wasteful? You do know what CW stands for don't you? Can't Watch.
You do know what CW stands for don't you? Can't Watch.
I've heard something about InvestigateTV+ airing at 1 instead of Drew Barrymore, but the schedule on their website shows no changes. From the schedules I've seen for KTVK, 1pm after the noon news gets expanded to an hour (12:30pm will be KTVK exclusive).
I agree. I can't see Gray blowing up all of that on 3TV just to affiliate with the CW. Anyone know WPCH's current situation and why Gray decided CW would make sense there?I'd be absolutely shocked if Gray were to even think about it. Right now, in prime time, KTVK has Wheel of Fortune at 7, Jeopardy at 7:30, and then news from 8-11 PM. Add to that, come October, 3TV will be the home of the Phoenix Suns, which will already preempt the previously-mentioned programming quite a few times between then and April.
I don't see any reason why Gray would cut their own financial throat by taking on the #5 "network" (and I use that term loosely). I haven't heard anything about WoF and Jeopardy moving to another station. It would be the only way that could happen, along with dropping the 8 PM newscast.
Yes and lets wait and see how Nexstar runs with this one. Also Nexstar ran with a name that contains the initials of the initial owners when they had majority control of the CW.You do know what CW stands for don't you? Can't Watch.

“We are very excited to be bringing KUSI-TV together with KSWB-TV, Nexstar’s other owned-and-operated television station in the market,” said Scott Heath, who will serve as Vice President and General Manager for both TV stations. “Collectively, these stations will offer more local news and information programming in the market than all of the other local stations combined and provide unprecedented coverage of breaking news, weather, and sports. In addition, by working together with KUSI-TV, we will be able to provide our advertisers and marketing clients with even more opportunities to reach consumers across our combined linear and digital platforms.”

unless Nexstar makes a station swap like KNXW trading to Tegna reuniting with KFSM (since Hearst keeping it's NWAR affilation for it's ABC affliate KHBS/KHOG as well as buying some Nexstar/Mission stations. That won't happen for another three years as TEGNA still has the contract to air The CW on KFMB 8.2 until 2026.
much like KTLA and WPIXThat's not gonna be KRON 4's main logo though. Just like their MNT days, they'll only use it for promoting The CW programming. Otherwise, the same logo since 2001 will be in use.
The schedule on KOMO's website now shows 4.2 as The CW and all other programs outside of The CW as "To Be Announced." Schedule
