"The Ramsey Show" and Kim Kommando.

Ms. Komando and her husband self-syndicate, so anything is possible even if other syndicators wouldn't typically do that.
They had some big affiliates back then, so settling for a small station in the suburbs of Hartford might not have been very interesting to them.
I'm guessing they probably deliver the show via file, so it's not like they're spending big bucks on low bandwidth (voice grade) satellite time like they used to. If that's the case, the cost of delivering the show weekly to some small station shouldn't be prohibitive, assuming the station has an Internet connection.
That being said; in my experience running the technical side of an NBA team radio network, unfortunately, the smallest stations are your largest pains in the a$$ to the point where it's just not worth it.

They also have distributed Chip Davis's An American Christmas with Manheim Steamroller, and that is cash-free barter.

Premiere began requiring Rush and Hannity stations to air their "Week in Review" shows on either a saturday or sunday. I don't think many people got away with not airing them. It took away live, local shows in some cases. When Hannity went to premiere they immediately required the "Hannity Morning Minute" to run during morning drive along with a spot, just like Rush's morning update.

Komando has biased opinions on software because they are show sponsors. Many free options that are better exist, but she always pushed them.

pretty sure the show was also on WTIC 1080 Hartford too.. i cant imagine how else i wouldve known about it

Neither are very interesting shows. Komando, last I actively listened (and that was a long time ago), goes over things quickly and is short on details, compared to other computer shows.

Ramsey is a whole 'nother bowl of beans and rice, so to speak, and sounds as valuable as such. Not a premium or "gourmet" show, that's for sure.

tjhanks because kims audience is different.. its geard a bit towards people who are very basic on tech skills...... unlike other shows. ive been a kim fan for 20 years and if she had a non comm version of her show, idd add it on ksko

I stopped listened to Komando a few years ago because I found she was sounding more like Dr. Laura than a tech host.

Then she started to include her husband on the show. He has a good radio voice but had nothing to contribute.

Rich DeMuro is a better choice, IMO.

Kim Komando used to have a daytime one minute feature which aired on WCBS 880 New York. But that all-news station is no more. I don't think her weekend three-hour show ever cleared on a NYC station.

Dave Ramsey had been carried by WOR 710 in New York from 9 to midnight until a year or two ago. Ramsey was replaced with CBS Eye on the World with John Batchelor in that time slot. So currently The Ramsey Show is also missing from NYC airwaves.

With WCBS now gone, that Kim Komando minute now airs in NYC on WABC, weekday afternoons in the 4PM hour.

Dave has been making rumblings about retirement for awhile, and the move to having co-hosts seemed like Dave's time on-air was drawing to a close. Are there any plans for him to step down anytime soon?
A friend characterized Ramsey very well a while back: "He gives good advice to people who are bad with money, and bad advice to people that are good with money".

I think his time has more than passed, as essentially he is kind of a one-trick pony. Selling the services, the 'university', and the app are more the focus, I think. Anyone could watch a dozen of his out-takes on YouTube and more/less get all his advice. Retirement might be a good plan.

There is also too much of a parade of hosts and co-hosts....some good, some not so. His daughter is better than he is, IMHO, and certainly more well-spoken, empathetic, and professional. Obviously callers to a talk show are fair game and disposable, but he throws 'stupid' around a bit too much......and I'm tired of hearing him talk about how wealthy he is.

The problem with Rachel is her voice. It is nails on a chalkboard and she sounds much older than she really is.
