I don't see SBS selling WSUN, even if they're not making as much money as nearby WPYO, they're still clearing the Zol/Sol brand in Tampa. If SBS ends up selling El Zol 97.1 (maybe to EMF?) the space isn't as crowded.

And they're making money off the concerts that Tampans can drive to Orlando to see.I don't see SBS selling WSUN, even if they're not making as much money as nearby WPYO, they're still clearing the Zol/Sol brand in Tampa.
Not happening on either end. SBS isn't selling any radio properties and EMF's acquisition budget has been decreased immensely this year.If SBS ends up selling El Zol 97.1 (maybe to EMF?) the space isn't as crowded.
Why would they sell a station they just bought in a market that enhances their Florida Hispanic coverage.?If SBS ends up selling El Zol 97.1 (maybe to EMF?) the space isn't as crowded.
Florida is heavenβs waiting room. Old people from the north canβt tolerate the cold as well so they decide to move to Florida. A 60 year old was born in 1964 and was 30 in 1994 when hip hop was taking off. So maybe a classic hip hop station would do well. With 106.5 changing to The Beat today, this is the iHeart Sarasota FM lineup:
92.1/103.1 - ππ₯ππ¬π¬π’π Country
105.9 - ππ₯ππ¬π¬π’π Rock
106.5 - ππ₯ππ¬π¬π’π Hip Hop
107.9 - ππ₯ππ¬π¬π’π Hits
Notice any similarities there? If those arenβt old enough you can flip to AM and listen to Oldies 1320.
I really shouldnβt be surprised at such an iHeart mistake, but at least get the frequency right. Incredible.
