Rumba & Beat On The Move

I don't see SBS selling WSUN, even if they're not making as much money as nearby WPYO, they're still clearing the Zol/Sol brand in Tampa.
And they're making money off the concerts that Tampans can drive to Orlando to see.

The SBS deal wasn't just about radio stations. It was about live entertainment. SBS had Central Florida spinoffs of their Puerto Rican concerts like el DΓa Nacional de la Zalsa and Guaya Guaya, but no place to promote them.

With 106.5 changing to The Beat today, this is the iHeart Sarasota FM lineup:

92.1/103.1 - 𝐂π₯𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐒𝐜 Country
105.9 - 𝐂π₯𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐒𝐜 Rock
106.5 - 𝐂π₯𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐒𝐜 Hip Hop
107.9 - 𝐂π₯𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐒𝐜 Hits

Notice any similarities there? If those aren’t old enough you can flip to AM and listen to Oldies 1320.

If SBS ends up selling El Zol 97.1 (maybe to EMF?) the space isn't as crowded.
Why would they sell a station they just bought in a market that enhances their Florida Hispanic coverage.?

Florida is heaven’s waiting room. Old people from the north can’t tolerate the cold as well so they decide to move to Florida. A 60 year old was born in 1964 and was 30 in 1994 when hip hop was taking off. So maybe a classic hip hop station would do well.

No, it wouldn't.
