Plus YouTube, people watching it later on YouTube.....
It occurs to me that You Tube should be the "go to" for this sort of thing because of the ability to pause and reverse search. I realize that some people have the capability to do this with live television but it's far from universal!

Not sure if the other stations in the New Orleans market & nearby are following suit (wouldn't be surprised), but seeing because of Tropical Storm Francine bearing down on Louisiana, WWL (CBS) is bumping coverage of the debate to sister station WUPL.
WWL was the only one to continue storm coverage, all the other New Orleans stations aired the debate as well as Gulfport/Biloxi.

I just saw the newspaper TV listings.

Three of the four broadcast networks have a brief description after the title. All say "Guests Kamala Harris".

As I expected, the debate exceeded expectations.
Ah, but if you expected it, then it really didn't exceed expectations!

Sorry, I couldn't resist...

But jokes aside, I agree that the ABC moderators generally did a good job. Unlike in the CNN debate, they actually pushed back and asked follow up questions when the candidates ignored the questions.

Interesting that the debate created a week's worth of content for commentators on both sides. It's pretty much the only topic no matter who you hear or watch.

Both candidates failed to address certain issues that were mentioned by the opponent or that were the subject of moderator questions, but I probably shouldn't go farther than that or it becomes a political discussion.

You don't win a televised debate by addressing all the issues. You win a televised debate by creating memorable TV moments. The issues can get addressed by doing the research, reading the policy statements, and following the campaign. There are still two months for the issues to get discussed. The key to winning is timing and pacing. There was a great book written about the Bill Clinton election called Primary Colors, where one of his advisors told him: Don't try to legislate before winning. First things first. Win the election first, and then legislate. The mistake politicians make is they give too much information. Everything they say or do is giving the opposition ammunition. You don't want to do that.

Last night I finally watched my recording of Seth Meyers commenting on the debate. No much I can say without getting political but I was pleased when he showed a fake t-shirt being worn on Spring Break. I recognized Myrtle Beach as the setting.

I think I'm safe if I just say accusations were made that Harris didn't address.
