You don't win a televised debate by addressing all the issues. You win a televised debate by creating memorable TV moments. The issues can get addressed by doing the research, reading the policy statements, and following the campaign. There are still two months for the issues to get discussed. The key to winning is timing and pacing. There was a great book written about the Bill Clinton election called Primary Colors, where one of his advisors told him: Don't try to legislate before winning. First things first. Win the election first, and then legislate. The mistake politicians make is they give too much information. Everything they say or do is giving the opposition ammunition. You don't want to do that.
