WABC has indeed pulled Frank Morano's "The Other Side of Midnight", along with shows hosted by Curtis Sliwa and Anthony Weiner off the air–at least locally. A few on this board predicted this very outcome.
As mentioned in previous posts, the three hosts are candidates in New York City's 2025 municipal elections. Morano and Weiner are seeking seats in the City Council while Sliwa is running his second campaign for Mayor, this time as the presumptive Republican nominee (without a primary challenger, for now).
However, all three will continue to be heard on their shows for national audiences along WABC's Red Apple Audio Network (both on-air and via stream). Morano's overnight program is also carried by a few big stations including WCCO in Minneapolis, WGN in Chicago, and KMOX in St. Louis. (Morano didn't mention these affiliates in a FB post announcing the move, which he found about on short notice.)
More from the Cats' Mouthpiece: Why WABC listeners won't hear Frank Morano, Curtis Sliwa, or Anthony Weiner on the air waves anymore
