Let’s discuss 102.3 KJLH for bit peeps. This station has been a fixture in the LA black community for years and I’ve rocked with station since I was a kid. It outlived KACE and The Beat and is still going strong. The station has never been a ratings winner because the signal is limited to Central LA but it still stayed relevant and gave us a voice in the community. It even stopped the music when the LA riots were going back in 1992 as a resource for South Central LA.
