Shelby NC is exactly 47 Miles away from WRFX, but so is the current 99.3 WBT Site, so I doubt any changes will be made under those circumstances, as it wouldn't improve WBT on FM at all to the East, and for only a little bit of improvement to the West. 1110 is the better option when 99.3 is weak or isn't available. At night is another story, which is why 99.3 is still helpful, even in its current capacity, when the 1110 Signal goes directional North/South overnight.
So Unless Some Moves are stratigically made, such as w/107.9, Mix (Hot AC Format) Going away in favor of WBT moving there fully, or if 100.9 moves there, swapping or goes to simulcast with 99.3 completely, I think it's gonna be fine or left alone as it is.
I doubt a swap of 99.3/107.9 will happen flat out, but if the 99.3 (signal) is ever put up for sale & sold to a different owner, and/or/if Urban One does decide to relocate / find a new spot for the FM variant of WBT, I doubt 99.3, will ever just be a standalone station in the future (minus WBT) under its current owner.
