Now you’ll be lucky to get it in Cleveland lol. But there are a lot of 103.7’s blocking it , W279BT Cleveland (K-Love) (maybe this is the reason present day Erie 103.7 (now Star 104) can’t be received there well , IDK) , WQWV Fisher (103.7 WQWV) , W279DN (103.7 The River) Kittanning , among others. 103.7 is packed through SW and NW PA and NE OH.

That was my wife's favorite station growing up in Conneaut, Ohio. I think we've heard it to around Painesville or a little east heading up that way on 90. It's definitely solid by the time we hit Geneva.

KDDR 1220 Oakes, North Dakota 320 some odd non directional watts at 500 miles between 730 and 8pm MTN 3-9-26 with I3g Sports play by play of some regional boys basketball tourney. Pretty good on fade ups.

KGLB 1310 Glencoe, MN 270 Watts 2 tower DA headed westward 620 miles with ... high school basketball about 745pm MTN time 3-9-26 with some good fade ups

Live play by play of Prince Albert Riders hockey and just a minute or two after posting a comment on their Facebook page post about tonight’s game, i got a live shout out by the radio play by play announcer

KCTE 1510 Independence City, Mo On after dark and making it to Laramie, WY at 0135UTC Mar 15

On tonight's delivery run, I had dueling signals of KLBS and KWKW from CA on 1330. No sign of Saskatchewan. I assume CJYM has reduced power or changed pattern, because Alberta was fine on 960 and 1010.

Logs from, Laramie, WY
XEJCC 720 Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

KCTE 1510 is on well after dark again

KCTE 1510 in the KC area is once again on well after dark.

Time for me to start looking for KCTE. 10KW on a high AM channel should get out at 1,400 miles (if I can get a fade on the 540-watt KGA or KSFN SFO).
Apparently KIRV Fresno was on all night a few nights ago with Radio Vida Abundante SS religious programming.

A *thank you* to DXer Kyle Smith, for adding another newie to the log.
I flipped on the GE SR 2 at 5:57 this mornng, 3-20, new batteries (endorsed by Al Kaline himself) and went to see if that 1590 unID from 'Carolina' I heard last week was there. Sure was. National anthem (female singer), morning DJ, drawl* and all. and no ID. He gave a 6:04 time check, said it was the first day of spring, 74° later and 82 tomorrow, and mentioned something about Paul Simon.
On that response Kyle Smith posted a page back, I called WCSL in Cherryville and verified it was that same guy. I hadn't called him yet out of the half-dozen stations listed to NC and SC. A station west of Charlotte? With 5 or so other 1590s between here and there? 462 miles and 5 states away?
The morning guy and I went through the stuff I'd heard, and he 'Yup'ed' every one. 'That was me. Yup.' He said they play a lot of Solid Gold in the morning, and Country later i the way. So I got a PSL -- a verie via phone.
Second new station here at the new house; 8th on 1590.

* On drives to Florida, the wife and I have heard the most pronounced Southern drawl not in VA, GA or SC, but in NC, where I guess they they really turn on the hospitality when they spot a tourist. We got y'alled and drawled and honeychilded and sho-nuffed all the way to SC.

I met someone from NC, and yup, they really do have that drawl.

It's funny, because I called him once, and he answered with a plain, unaccented voice that sounds more like what one might hear in urban California, but then he switched it off when he realized who was calling. He called it his "business voice."

So they really can switch their drawl on and off at will.

I forgot to mention this, but I got a new meteor scatter log on March 10th. KDDV-101.5 Wright WY, with a Billy Squier song // stream around noon PT. This was heard from the nearby Cowiche Canyon Uplands hiking area, and is a new log overall at about 750 miles. The station serves the Gillette area in NE WY.

Around 130 utc Mar 26, Cubas 11760khz was broadcast audio from their Multivisoon tv channel.. it was some spanish language tv drama
