I don't believe this is for real. No special launch montage at the start so this must be a stunt. The start sounding very dry.

You know, you just might be right........ hmmmmmmmmmm.

I think this is funny. Urban is in decline nationwide and they chose this??? Even in my town of Charlotte, NC which has an almost 50% African American population, we only have two Urban AC's and one Urban station (Power 98)and they have been playing less Hip hop and rap lately then they use to. I think it's funny they used Anthony Michaels for VO too. Good voice but hardly an Urban format voice.

Jam'n plays NONE of these tracks. I know it's all the same to you people, but TRUST ME there's a difference. This is 100% Urban.

Power sounding very Clear Channel to me. They own a lot of Powers in the country.

I wonder if "Power 88" (WGAO/Dean College) will change it's moniker? They've been "Power 88" for over a decade. It is in the same radio market.

My head did not explode at this travesty. Disco buried the
music business a long time asgo, and rap/hiphop threw dirt on its grave.
Sad, really... It does not really matter to me - I did not
listen to 96.9 as a talk station, and I certainly will not listen to it now...
