also notice they still have the old slogan fm talk so I'm guessing they don't update it that often!!
 
Because IT'S A STUNT! No Facebook page...Twitter handle stolen by CBS, no montage before the launch, five hour loop of songs. This is all to create buzz, which is the entire point! I mean, did ANYONE honestly think Greater Media of all companies would do mainstream Urban? Really? This will eventually be some adult hits or rhythmic AC format aimed at suburban whites 25-54. Like all of their other stations. Just watch.....
 
Its too bad this isn't the real format. Im sick of the crap Jam'n plays its not even hop hop, any station that plays Justin Bieber is not hip hop. We need a station like this in Boston to kill Jam'n. To bad its not real :(
 
Boston radio has gotten worse, we have at least 4 stations playing the same music. 103.3, 101.7, 94.5 and now 96.9, I guess the oldies and talk radio are dead. With 96.9 gone, where will the Andelman's food show take up shop. The only talker left is WRKO.

Jam'n sucks and has been watered down garbage for 15+ years. I've ALWAYS wished for a real urban station like this, on a full market signal. AND YES IT COULD WORK.

Those stations you listed don't play the same music. In fact, 101.7's music is nothing like any of the others.
 
I'm still thinking it is the real format, Why not even if its just a place holder till the real format does come in 6months or so,why not try it out!! I'm in the target demo so of course i am loving this right now. ;D ;D ;D ;D  now i know clear channel is trying something new so why can't gm do the same thing??  Maybe they weren't going to change formats then seeing all the buzz it got said sure lets do this.  Now seeing as they don't have another station to go by they probably didn't get the rights to many songs and of course there are going to be bugs.  I've noticed 101.7 repeating some segments and music, as well!!
 
i saw that it says through fri you get a follow so it will be here till at least fri,but I'm noticing a staticy stream not sure whats wrong!!
