101.5 - From Free to Fresh?

The bottom line isn't good enough to save the Phoenix version of Free-FM.

Hip-Hop? Not going to happen. One crappy hip-hop station is about all that milquetoast Phoenix wants or needs.

Hey now, I didn't mean to imply that Free FM was making enough money to overcome the abysmal ratings. I was speaking in more general terms. :)

My main point was that ratings won't save a format that has trouble making money. Ask anyone with experience selling ads on an urban station; unless your ratings are spectacular, it can often be a tough sell.

programmers don't understand that. finally someone with a clue! :D
 
I wonder if the local "Free" airstaff will stay on...
or will it be all "Fresh" people too. (yes, pun intended) ;)
