radiojomo said:By the way guys, are we talking about Spanish or English Top 40? Univision launching an English Top 40 in Los Angeles would be like Clear Channel or CBS getting into Regional Mexican or Spanish Pop in Los Angeles.
Well, CHR's in Latin America tend to play both Spanish and English language music.
In any case, KXOL, KXOS and KSSE are all forms of CHR or Churban aimed at Spanish speakers.
And CBS put on Spanish pop in Houston and Dallas, and forms of CHR in Tampa and DC.
Clear Channel put on CHR in Miami and is among the top Spanish language stations there. They also have Spanish language pop in Chicago and Regional in Atlanta... to name just a couple of examples.
