Tibbs2 said:I wonder if all this is a prelude to the Oldies format? If they were "just" going back to the Party, wouldn't it make sense that 102.5 have a day of stunting called "Scott" All Oldies for an Oldie? After all CR, why do we need George, when we have Scott? Just playing Scott, I am just out of AM and have nothing better to do than stir things up...

I love Frank, but is this a permanent change? He wasn’t what I was expecting to hear this morning when I tuned in to my favorite station!
Stay tuned Leah, exciting change is coming to your radio dial. Thanks for listening. Best - th

I remember when he put up his billboards in Clarksville saying "Big Daddy Bobbaloo is back!" :romer979fm said:scottwmro said:Lon Sosh is on there playing oldies and it does get into the Nashville Market with it's low dial position and 2500 watts, daytime.
sorry...Big Daddy Bobaloo (Lon Sosh) and WRUS do not have listeners (or a 'listenable' signal) in the Nashvile market.
kinda like another station we hear about but can't actually hear.
That would require honesty, and just like politicians, radio station owners/operators/management can't tell the truth, even when it is plainly obvious to everyone else!D Dean said:this week, they have packed in the commercials. What are the odds the special announcement at noon is: "We're sorry. We have tried programming this station so someone will listen, but we failed. We're shuttin' 'er down. Thanks for your support."

makes sense with the low dial position...are you hearing it in the car or at-home?
I remember how far 540 WDXN Clarksville used to get out (I listened in Louisville in the 60's)
