Construction sounds now. What do you think at 5? Hip hop?

Sounds like it's got a Rhythmic AC lean![]()

SMH. What a waste of a good signal.

I think this is the perfect kind of station to go up against V101.9 and WPEG.
I've heard plenty of songs so far on 105.3 that V101.9 wouldn't play.
It's not really a limited format when the music spans 25 years.
Last night I heard them play "No Diggity" by Blackstreet which means they can skew little bit younger
while at the same time play the Rhythmic Tracks from the 70s to 90s,
especially some New Jack Swing & Disco hits that V101.9 neglects.
Added: 6:40 pm - 105.3 is playing Lisa Lisa's "I Wonder If I Take You Home"
Pretty happy to see a few Freestyle tracks in the playlist![]()
Absolutely. It seems kind of boring to me. I can't identify with "black" music but I heard a couple of tunes that crossed over to AC back in the day and can now be heard on the station I listen to.ShawtyBlack_ATL said:Now if they keep it upbeat that would be a great move. Most Urban AC tends to have a slow and tired feel. I hope they don't leave out Old School Hip-Hop.
