metroneck said:[EDIT]. Call it what you want, but my point is the Fan is getting some scoreboard sing BG came aboard. Oh, you're right...Cowboys must have popped em up a bit in Sept, then Rangers. Hell, now it's hockey season, maybe the stars will carry them through the winter..then...maybe some other SPORT helping get audience on a [EDIT] SPORTS station.

OK dude- here is why you are wrong. PM sports broadcasts will show up in the ratings, but if you actually look at the ratings for sports talk shows, the Fan didn't make any ground on the Ticket at all.
See- the real measure of ratings for a radio station- the numbers they use for billing, etc, are how the SHOWS do.
It doesn't matter if every one in Dallas tunes in for a Rangers game, if only three people and a trained chimp are by their radio the next morning when the Jagger show comes on.
This is all about who wins AM drive and PM drive. Period.
Oh, and the Stars are on the Ticket, not the Fan. And the Rangers will be on ESPN next season.
So I guess we will see how the Fan's ratings look come April. Feel free to chime in and admit how wrong you are.
