I grew up listening to this music. If you saw my iTunes library, you would be so confused. I listen to everything from girl groups of the 50’s. Flower power of the 60’s, disco from the 70’s, R&B from the 70, 80, 90, & 2000’s, rock and pop 70’s and 80’s, majority of top 100 songs from every year from 80’ and 90’s. 2000’s and on is mostly pop and alternative rock.So you were seven years from being born when those two songs were hits. Another member of the "Outlier Generation" heard from! (Outliers being what radio folks call people who don't conform to the general profile of their age/race/ethnicity group.)
