106.9 the new home for Pulse 101.7

I saw where WAY-FM is getting out of the 24 hour format business this summer. I wonder what 106.9 will do for programming then?
Simulcast HANK FM? :)

I was thinking the same thing.... maybe they'll just change it back to KZY again. 101.7 made it back to the start so why not 106.9 LOL ;D
 
So I'm to asume that Pulse is fed at least in part from Way-fm? If so how much is fed? Is it all satelite from way-fm or is there some local content?

I don't think there is any local content.
 
They insert local commercials and maybe one song during times when Way media has pledge drive spots. Sometimes the local spots are during a song that's playing on Way-FM stations & they re-join the feed at the start of the next song. (I can get WAYT 88.1 from Tallahassee as well as WPLL so I compare them)

They could always pick up Christian.Fm using the Storq system or go with Salem's 24/7 CCM format called "Today's Christian Music" both are 24/7 options if they wanted to stay with a CCM format.

I heard a local commercial on HANK FM so guess that is a start. I listen through the Tunein Radio app for the iPhone which is great.

Maybe they'll hire HANK FM's brother BOB FM although they tried the "We Play Anything" format before.  Search You Tube for some really clever BOB FM TV commercials.
 
106.9 Pulse FM Facebook page gone. Hank has surpassed Pulse in likes already in the short time they've been back to Classic Country.
Between that & JVC's new stations shaking things up, maybe another change coming at Marc Radio?
 
What do you mean WAY-FM is getting out of 24 hours this summer? There is more than 1 WAY-FM stations around Florida,Georiga,ALA. We have 1 in Tallahassee WAY-FM 88.1 and Others in Panama City and South Florida as well.

As of this evening, 106.9 is still playing Contemporary Christian music & calling themselves "106.9 The Pulse of North Florida".
..the music is now different than WAYT out of Tallahassee, which didn't come as a surprise since I knew about the Way Media people getting out of syndicating to non- "Way" stations.
