Okay... I think I figured out today's "theme*. it seems like they are running liners every two minutes. Weird that they're not playing any music behind it.

Yes, I remember that very well. S.T.E.V.E. Signal Transmitting from the East Valley. It was a long time for stunting as they moved the transmitter and COL from Florence to Gilbert. It lasted so long they built up a large following of listeners, and were showing up in the ratings.
 
That image announcer sounds familiar. I’m going to go out on a limb and see a “Star” in Sacramento’s future. Of course image announcers aren’t necessarily tied to formats. Hot AC would complement the Breeze and would be a great way to squeeze the Mix.
 
Listened for about 30 minutes today. Some of the sound bits were, um… interesting. I was actually surprised at the content in one of them.

It's kind of creepy, eavesdropping on people having private conversations in their homes (even though we know it's not real) Very big brother,. Makes you wonder if this is already going on. I'm having second thoughts about my smart speaker.
 
Right? I was trying to figure out a theme. Several liners mentioned “everyone’s listening” and “do you feel guilty listening”? Kind of weird. The conversations all begin with a question to Alexa. Very much a big brother theme…
 
We’re playing into their hands talking about it…lol We should be saying …107.9, what’s that? Didn’t it go off the air 5 years ago?
