1450 silent for 6 months

Jim Lucas had NO CLUE about the GD; the only GD material we would have had access to was from collection, which never made it to 725 Magnolia. The format mix was 80% CC, and 20% CHR when we switched in Nov. '98. Why would any true radio "fan" listen to CC on a 920w AM station when it comes in crystal clear on SiriusXM? All due respect, pseuod-omnipotence is not a good color on you.

I can only tell you what I heard with my own ears. 1450 did play "Touch Of Grey." I even questioned a few people there about it. I thought the address was in the 200's (250 maybe) but I could be wrong. It was a long time ago. I glad you enjoy your subscription to SirusXM. I liked it a lot when I had it. But, at the time 1450 was playing Standards and Classic Country, satellite wasn't an option. Localism is/was the key.

I just wish someone would buy 1450 and get it back on the air! August 2 will be 1 year silent. Ridiculous for the one time "Big X".

I think the price is right. I had a look at the asset and the asking price includes the the building in Jeff and about 6 acres.

What are they asking for it?

It was in the range of 230,000 or 270,000. Best part of the list "crappy mic stand."

I apologize about the address, I always confuse WAVE-TV (my last employer) 725 S. Floyd to AVG's old addy; 213 Magnolia

Here's the engineer in me: why was WOKC only delivering 920w to the antenna coupler instead of the full 1Kw plus a bit more for system loss override wattage? I know it's a single omni stick behind the station on Magnolia Ave. in north Jeffersonville...are there system issues? That 80w could make a surprising difference in your fringe (0.5 mv/m) coverage.
