I have so much to say but I'm not looking at closing down another thread. My client asked me to ask everyone that if 92.5 was broadcasting 2000 watts as was previously alleged in this forum, how could a station 350 miles away overpower it? K223CW regularly experiences interference from everywhere, especially the LPFM in South Houston. Despite its weak signal, the translator has the advantage of over 1,100 feet of height.
I will say that from my own personal observations the LPFM in South Houston barely gets out 1 mile and the other one by the NE part of beltway 8 gets out about 3.5 miles before being obliterated by the translator.
