95.9 STUNTING????

GO TEXAS COUNTRY! Did anyone actually think it wasn't a radio stunt? ....at least the normal listeners think they helped save their station. Everyone's Happy ;D
THE END.

"ok so to the previous post I think that you are missing out on the point of social networking. Myspace is a crucial part of networking with your audience, so before you go make it look like the web guy is doing a bad job maybe you should go look at myspace and see all the other artist, record labels, studios, radio stations, and listeners that are on there. Myspace is becoming a key role in the way to communicate with your listeners. GREAT BUSINESS MODEL.

Anyhow I just wanted to throw that out there because I think in the business world today; many employers have a myspace and facebook and are using it again for business purposes much like how The Ranch has a myspace page to promote the station. "

No, I am not missing the point. I am not talking about networking. I am talking about something that more and more employers are having problems with and that is employees playing with their own myspace pages on company time. Jocks...yes. Sales/Support staff...no. The guy is paid by The Ranch to work on Ranch related projects. He instead used "Ranch" time to write an extensive blog about entering and losing "another" station's contest. He found the time to work on his myspace page, but did not take the time to get the Ranch website/myspace page prepared for the on air stunt. I know all about Myspace and it's networking capabilities. I also know how inept people in that building can be. Honestly, take a look at their website and try to navigate it successfully. My bet is that you can't. ;)

Actually I can navigate the new website just fine thank you!

Wow sounds like a bitter x employee to me! All I know is when I was at the Ranch the "internet guy" was one of the hardest working underappreciated people there. They’re very luck to have a guy like that at a station like that
